Short Term I-81- MM 205-223- From the week of October 2 through October 6 the contractor will continue to have lane closures in both the Northbound and Southbound directions between Mile Marker 205 to 223.5 I-81– A nighttime detour of I-81 southbound is planned for Saturday, September 30, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the Lenoxville Road bridge replacement project in Susquehanna County. Short Term Exits 223, 211 and 206- Susquehanna County- the contractor will have multiple lane closures both northbound and southbound 24 hours next week, starting Monday morning at 12:00 am. They will be closing the on and off ramps at exits 223, 211, and 206 throughout week during the night from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am for paving. Detours will be in place. Wolf Administration Urges Public Participation in Statewide Seat Checks, Highlights Child Passenger Safety Week
Posted on Monday September 18, 2017The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), and Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are encouraging motorists to take advantage of safety seat check resources across the state as the agencies mark National Child Passenger Safety Week from September 17 through September 23. Additionally, Saturday, September 23, has been designated as “National Seat Check Saturday.” To advance their public-safety missions, the agencies invest in community resources across the state. PennDOT funds resources such as training and educational materials for more than 170 fitting stations across Pennsylvania. Wolf Administration Encourages Public to Participate in Online Safety Survey
Posted on Thursday September 7, 2017The Wolf Administration is seeking motorists’ input on highway safety, traffic safety enforcement, and driving behaviors through an annual online survey located on PennDOT’s website and Facebook page. “Safety is our top priority and we value continued public engagement in making our roadways safer,” said PennDOT Secretary Leslie S.
