Jan. 29, 2014 Interstate 81 North is closed at Exit 184 (River Street) due to a multi-vehicle crash. Emergency responders are on the scene and the road will reopen as soon as possible. To avoid the accident, if you are traveling north of Scranton, take the PA Turnpike north beginning at the Wyoming Valley Interchange (Pittston).
