The following roadwork is scheduled for this week on Interstate 81. Short Term Projects:  I-81- Lackawanna County- Exit 184 to Exit 182- Emergency lane closure as requested by PA State Police for crash re-construction. State Police requests PennDOT assistance with right lane closure South Bound Interstate 81 at M.M. 182.6 near the Davis Street Exit. Short-Term Projects: I-81 NB at MM 173 (Luzerne County) there will be bridge deck patching work on Tuesday, November 17 through Thursday, November 19 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Rain day is November 18. I-81 NB and SB  at Exit 141 (Hazleton South Beltway)- utility company will be pulling  power lines over the interstate on Thursday, November 19 and will install large power balls on Friday, November 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The following work is scheduled for this week on Interstate 81. Short Term Projects: Wednesday, November 4th:  I-81 North: There will be a single lane closure on Interstate 81 North between Exit 182 (Davis Street) and the concrete pavement area north of the Central Scranton Expressway.
