The following roadwork is scheduled for this week on Interstate 81.
Short Term
I-81-NB/SB-Lackawanna-Central Scranton Expressway to Business Rt. 6- Sweeping Operation – Shoulders -Monday, July 2 to Friday, July 6- 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Exit 170B (Wilkes-Barre) to Exit 164 (Nanticoke) – Pothole patching. There will be a single lane.- Monday, July 9 to Thursday, July 19- 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Exit 182: Baseball is back: Please note there will be traffic issues at Davis Street, I-81 and Montage Mountain Road, Moosic, at the beginning and end of the games. There are home games on Friday, June 29 games starts at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, June 30 game starts at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, July 1 games starts at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, July 4 games starts at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, July 5 games starts at 12:05 p.m. The next home game will be Thursday, July 12.
The Pavilion at Montage Mountain season begins Thursday, July 12 with Camp Bisco.
