Short-Term Projects: I-81 – Luzerne County- Exit 175 North and South- PennDOT will be setting beams on Interstate 81 over SR 315 on Tuesday, May 19th, Wednesday, May 20th and possibly Thursday, May 21st. Because the beams will be set overtop of SR 315, PennDOT will be closing SR 315 in both directions between Oak Street and the entrance to 84 Lumber as well as closing the on-ramp from SR 315 to I-81 South each night from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. Also, there will be a single lane closure on Interstate 81 North and South each night in … Continue reading

Posted on Friday November 14, 2014Dunmore – On Saturday, November 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be a single lane closure on Interstate 81 South between Exit 191A (Dickson City) and Exit 190 (Main Avenue) in order to remove the barrier and open the ramp from Main Ave to I-81 South. Once the ramp is open, the majority of the work in this area will be complete. In the spring, crews will go back and do final paving in the southern end of the project and through the rock cut area between the Scranton Expressway and Clarks Summit.
