Interstate 81 Mahanoy to McAdoo Resurfacing Project

A resurfacing project on northbound and southbound Interstate 81 between the Mahanoy City Exit Exit 134 and the McAdoo Exit 138 is scheduled for late July 2018. The roadwork is expected to be done at nighttime.

While the number of alcohol-impaired driving arrests and crashes have been trending downward in recent years, the occurrences of drug-impaired driving continue to increase statewide. Motorists are reminded to never drive impaired by illegal substances and always follow the warnings listed on any prescription or over-the-counter medications, as some medicines can impair driving abilities.
