The following roadwork is scheduled for this week on Interstate 81.
Short Term
Exit 170 B(Wilkes-Barre) to Exit 164 (Nanticoke) NB & SB from Monday, July 9 to Thursday, July 19 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews will patching at night with miller and widener. There will be a single lane.
Milemarker 139.5 (Schuylkill County Line) to Exit 145 NB- Monday, July 9 to Thursday, July 19 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.- there will be a right lane closure for mechanized pothole patching.
Exit 190 (Dickson City) to Exit 194 (Clarks Summit) NB and SB on Monday, July 16 between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be an installation of a fiber optic cable above ground utility facility. A rolling stop will take place for no more than five minutes work. Rain date is Tuesday, July 17.
Exit 124 (Frackville)- Wednesday, July 18 – Inspection- NB right ramp lane from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., NB left ramp lane from 12 pm. to 3 p.m., Thursday, July 19- SB right ramp lane from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
