The following roadwork is scheduled for this week on Interstate 81.
Baseball is back: Please note there will be traffic issues at Davis Street, I-81 and Montage Mountain Road, Moosic, at the beginning and end of the games.
Exit 197-202 SB- (Waverly) to (Gleenwood/ Thompson) Lackawanna–Mill/Fill-Monday, April 16 to Thursday, April 19- 7 a.m.to 3 p.m.
Exit 197 (Waverly) to 194 (Clarks Summit) there will be a south bound shoulder closure on to install Type A signs for cashless tolling conversion on the PA Turnpike.
Exit 206 (Glenwood/Lenoxville) to Exit 230 (Great Bend/Hallstead)there will be lane closures and restrictions on I-81 north and south bound for guiderail repair starting on Tuesday, April 10 through Thursday, April 19, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Exit 223 to Exit 230 I-81–New Milford Twp./Great Bend -Lane Restrictions-Patching-Monday, April 16 to Friday, April 20- 7 a.m.to 3 p.m.
The Central Scranton Expressway will be closed starting on Wednesday, April 18 from 8 p.m. to Monday, morning April 23 at 6 a.m. Please note that the car detour will be Moosic Street and the truck detour will be Davis Street for the start of the removal of the old Harris Avenue Bridge over the expressway.
