Please be advised that the Central Scranton Expressway will be closed from Friday night April 22, 2016 at 9 p.m. it will remain closed until Sunday, evening April 24, 2016 till 9 p.m. when it will reopen. A detour will be set up on Friday, April 22 through Sunday April 24. There will be alternate lane closures on I-81 to modify overhead signs. The work is being done to install quick curb to address cross-over issues on the main line. Also emergency pavement pairs will be done on the main line.
The routes to be closed:
SR 3022 inbound and outbound for the entire SR
SR 8025 Cedar Avenue Ramps inbound and outbound for the entire SR
SR 8025 Spruce Complex ramps inbound and outbound for the entire SR
SR 8005 I-81 Interchange 185 ramps inbound and outbound for the SR
I-81 north and south at interchange 185 alternating lane closures
Emergency vehicles will be allowed through.
