Dunmore : There will be a single lane closure from 6 p.m. Thursday, December 19 to 6 a.m. Friday, December 20 to switch traffic on to the new portion of the bridge deck on I-81 North at Exit 191 (Dickson City). During the traffic-switch, the contractors will have to close the off-ramp from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. to complete the process. The work will be completed by 6 a.m. Friday, December 20.
Motorists should use caution when traveling in the area. The work is part of major rehabilitation improvement project on Interstate 81 in Lackawanna County. The two-year, $30 million project will take place between Exit 188 (Dunmore/Throop) and Exit 194 (Clarks Summit).
