There will be a public meeting to discuss the I-81 Drinker Street Exit project on Monday, August 26 at 7 p.m. at the Dunmore Community Center 1414 Monroe Ave, Dunmore, PA. The project involves the widening of the SR 81 Drinker ST NB Exit, the addition of a new signal at the exit, and the coordination of the new signal with the Meade St. signal.
The project is in the engineering and design stages. The let date is March 2015 and construction should start June 2015.. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the PennDOT staff an opportunity to explain the project and answer questions on an information basis. Preliminary plans will be available.
